ETAPS Main Conferences Fees

All fees include the attendance to the ETAPS main conferences, to the Welcome Reception at York Castle Museum on Monday evening, as well as lunch and morning/afternoon coffee breaks from Monday through Friday.
The Main Conferences Banquet at the National Railway Museum on Wednesday evening (may not be available if registering after closure of online registration) is not included in the registration fees. Tickets have to be bought in advance when registering online.
Academia and Industry, but not Students, registration fees include a copy of the proceedings of two ETAPS conferences, which can be selected on the registration form. Delegates can also order any number of additional copies of the proceedings (at reduced prices) on the registration form (CC: £26; ESOP: £29; FASE: £31; FOSSACS: £33; TACAS: £33).

(*) As an academic member of EATCS, EAPLS, or EASST you can register for the ETAPS main conferences at a reduced academia fee. You will be asked to provide your membership details (organisation and membership number) on the registration form. You may want to join one of these organisations before proceeding with your registration.
(**) When applying for Students registration, we ask you to present evidence that you are indeed enrolled as a student upon arrival at York at the Registration Desk in the Exhibition Centre, e.g., by showing us your student id.

Satellite Event Fees

It is possible to register for satellite events without registering for the ETAPS main conferences, but in that case there is a surcharge to cover general organisation expenses; this surcharge has to be paid only once independent of the number of chosen satellite events.
Unlike in previous years, the registration fee for a satellite event includes lunch and the morning and afternoon coffee breaks. This change is a consequence of the registration software which we are required to use.
Satellite events may be cancelled if attendee numbers are too low. If this is the case you will be eligible for a refund for that event or have the option to select an alternative event. Cancellation of satellite events will be decided by 2nd March 2009.
There will be a Joint Workshops Pre-Conference Dinner on Sunday, 22nd March 2009 and a Joint Workshops Post-Conference Dinner on Saturday, 28th March 2009. Tickets have to be bought in advance when registering.

Social Event Fees

There are several social events included in the ETAPS program (may not be available if registering after closure of online registration). Except for the Welcome Reception which is included in the regular registration fees, tickets for the other events have to be payed for separately and are priced as follows:

Sunday, 22nd March 2009: Joint Workshops Pre-Conference Dinner at the Hospitium (£40 per ticket);
Wednesday, 25th March 2009: Main Conferences Banquet at the National Railway Museum (£60 per ticket);
Saturday, 28th March 2009: Joint Workshops Post-Conference Dinner at the Merchant Taylors' Hall (£40 per ticket).

Additional tickets for the Welcome Reception at York Castle Museum on Monday, 23rd March 2009 are priced at £30 per ticket.

Invitation Letters

Registered delegates whose registration fee has been paid in full may request a letter of invitation, as may be required for a visa application. Letters will only be sent by post or fax and only to the individual registered; please provide your complete return address and fax number in your email request.
